Plan the trade before you're in it
File your entry, stop, target — or a ladder of partial take-profits — with your playbook's checklist and risk % pre-filled, your written thesis, and your state of mind: feeling chips (calm, hesitant, fomo, revenge…) and a conviction score, captured before the trade so it can't be rewritten after. Give the plan an expiry and even the setups you skip go on record as patience.
When the trade later lands in your journal, the plan links to it automatically — including partial closes. Now every trade has two versions: what you planned and what you did. The gap between them is your execution quality, and Risk Lab measures it on every single trade.
